How to install an eSIM on iPhone

Connect your compatible, carrier-unlocked iPhone to Wi-Fi. In My eSIMs, open the eSIM you purchased and choose one of these methods.

1. One-Tap Install — iOS 17.4 or later

1. On the iPhone you will use, sign in to your Rovesgo account, open My eSIMs and select the eSIM you purchased.
2. Under One-Tap Install, tap Install on iPhone.
3. Allow the iPhone to add the eSIM and follow the onscreen prompts.

2. Install with a QR code

1. Display the QR code on another screen.
2. On iPhone, go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Use QR Code.
3. Scan the code, then tap Continue and add the plan.

3. Manual installation

1. Go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Use QR Code → Enter Details Manually.
2. Copy the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from the installation details shown for the selected eSIM in My eSIMs.
3. Enter them in the matching fields and continue.

After installation, give the line a clear name. At your destination, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for this eSIM. Menu names may vary by iOS version.

Quick questions

The eSIM is installed but there is no connection

1. Select the Rovesgo eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for this eSIM.
2. Keep network selection on Automatic first. If it still does not connect, go to Settings → Cellular → Rovesgo eSIM → Network Selection, turn off Automatic and choose one of the supported operators shown under Networks in your eSIM details.
3. Restart the iPhone. If mobile data still does not work, follow the iPhone APN guide.

One-Tap Install does not open

It requires iOS 17.4 or later. Update iOS or use the QR-code or manual method shown above.
