How to install an eSIM on Android

Connect your compatible, carrier-unlocked Android phone to Wi-Fi. In My eSIMs, open the eSIM you purchased and choose one of these methods.

1. One-Tap Install — Android 12 or later

1. On the Android phone you will use, sign in to your Rovesgo account, open My eSIMs and select the eSIM you purchased.
2. Under One-Tap Install, tap Install on Android.
3. Allow the phone to download the eSIM and follow the onscreen prompts.

2. Install with a QR code

1. Display the QR code on another screen.
2. Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR code.
   Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Set up an eSIM.
3. Scan the code and confirm the download.

3. Manual installation

1. Open Add eSIM, choose the QR-code option, then Enter activation code or the manual-details option.
2. Copy the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from the installation details shown for the selected eSIM in My eSIMs.
3. Enter the requested details and confirm.

After installation, give the line a clear name. At your destination, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for this eSIM. Menu names vary by brand and Android version.

Quick questions

The eSIM is installed but there is no connection

1. Select the Rovesgo eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for this eSIM.
2. Keep network selection on Automatic first. If it still does not connect, open the Rovesgo eSIM’s network settings, choose network operators manually and select one of the supported operators shown under Networks in your eSIM details.
3. Restart the phone. If mobile data still does not work, follow the Android APN guide.

One-Tap Install does not open

It requires Android 12 or later on a supported device. Update Android or use the QR-code or manual method shown above.
